Lawrence Nwuruku, INEC state commissioner representing
the South-east zone has washed his hands off any complicity in the Abia clash
of titans.
Abia has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons
lately over the political tussle between Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, the newly
sacked governor over a case of alleged forgery of tax documents and his
opponent at the People's Democratic Party gubernatorial primaries, Uche Sampson
Ogah.
Ogah who was the second runner-up has been issued a
Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission's state
Commissioner representing the south-east in the person of Lawrence Nwuruku who
has been embroiled in a legal tussle for taking such an action.
Nwuruku in an explosive press briefing has stated
boisterously the circumstances behind the issuance of a second C of R as the
Abia crisis boils up.
