Donald
Trump might just be the history maker as he has outclassed Hilary Clinton in a
new national poll as the race for the White Houses gets intense.
In
a new national poll for registered voters conducted by Fox News, U.S
presidential Republican nominee Donald Trump has beaten rival Hilary Clinton by
a small margin in a new national poll.
According
to the result released, Donald Trump held a slight 45% to 42% lead over Hillary
Clinton. This shows the increasing support for Donald Trump. The poll result shows an improvement for the billionaire
businessman from a Fox national poll in April showing Clinton on top, 48% to
41%.
In
the poll, 83% of Democrats say they support Clinton, and 82% of Republicans say
they support Trump. More African- Americans and Hispanics voted for Clinton
while more white voters voted for Trump.
Republicans,
however, express more enthusiasm about the election, with 74% saying they are
extremely or very interested in the election, compared to 66% of Democrats who
say the same.
Most
of Trump's supporters are male voters, while Hilary's votes come from mostly
female voters. Many have speculated that this year's election will be a very
close call between the two candidates.
