UNIMAID Dental student dies 3 days after oath-taking

On Tuesday the 26th of January, 2016 the College of Medical Sciences University of Maiduguri held her 2016 attestation and oath taking ceremony for medical and dental graduates.

Dr Aminudeen Ibrahim Idris, 26, from Dambam LGA of Bauchi state (pictured above) took oath as a dental surgeon and the best graduating student with record breaking academic achievement of 3 distinctions out the 4 final year clinical courses in dentistry.

Aminudeen died on Friday 29th January, 2016 in a ghastly motor accident along Damagum axis on his way back from Maiduguri having collected his certificate of practice from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria at the oath-taking ceremony.

He is described by teachers as an intelligent and industrious fellow who is humble with deep interest for research and learning.

His colleagues and friends took to his facebook page to pay glowing tributes to the intelligent brand new Dentist who died at his prime...
